Who we are
We are a team of experienced International engineers, actuaries, analysts, sales and data scientists that specialise in converting Excel spreadsheet models to code and removing the complexity of recoding models and connecting them to other Cloud systems.

Senior Leadership Team
Jon’s fusion of entrepreneurial finesse and software engineering expertise are key components of what Optalitix share with all our clients. His deep IT experience and his passion for AI and data driven solutions ensure that every Optalitix client is able to extract the maximum value from their business.
Dani’s actuarial experience and passion are key. He is a strong advocate of innovation, optimism and communication, both within the team and for the clients. Dani’s ability and experience with data ensure that we always maximise value and efficiency for every project, enabling us to unlock hidden value for the clients business.
Alistair joined Optalitix over 8 years ago, he is an actuary and data scientist and has 18 years of experience in the insurance and banking industry. As an analytics and data driven Chief Operating Officer (COO), he strives for operational excellence, fostering growth, and maximizing organisational efficiency both for Optalitix and its clients. With a proven track record of successful leadership, he possesses a unique blend of strategic vision, strong business acumen, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
Ashter joined Optalitix in 2019 and is the Chief Product & Technology Officer. He is a visionary leader in the tech industry, renowned for driving innovation and bridging the gap between product development and technology strategy. With a proven track record in senior leadership roles, he spearheads Optalitix's strategic vision and digital transformation. His holistic approach, coupled with a passion for cutting-edge solutions, continues to reshape businesses and empower teams to excel.
Alexander is Co-Head of Calculus Capital's Investment Team. He joined Calculus in 2015 and has 30 years’ corporate finance and investment experience, including senior roles in JP Morgan and Evercore Partners in London, New York and Johannesburg. He has an MA in Mathematics from Cambridge University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. Alexander advises a number of Calculus technology and life sciences portfolio companies at board level, including Wazoku, Blu Wireless, Rotageek, Axol Biotherapeutics, Arctic Shores and Optalitix.
Paul is an experienced CFO, chairman, non-executive director and audit committee chair who operates in a number of different sectors. Paul’s past non-executive director roles include chairing the audit committees of Tokio Marine, Kiln, NEST Corporation, Tesco Bank, Collins Stewart Hawkpoint, Charles Taylor Plc and GMT Global Aviation. He began his executive career in finance, culminating in becoming Deputy Group Chief Executive and CFO of the Co-operative Group between 2003 and 2007. As well as Optalitix, Paul currently serves on the board of the Ombudsman Services, Dr Doctor and Vanquis Banking Group.
Graham was CEO of United Trust Bank Limited from 2004 to 2020. He began his career at Arthur Andersen and was previously Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate Finance of Investec Bank and a main board director of Investec for 16 years. He was a founding partner of the Insinger de Beaufort Group and a director of its listed parent and its Dutch bank. He is the Senior Independent NED of The Foschini Group, a listed multi-brand international retailing group and Chairman of Optalitix, an Insurtech SaaS provider.
